Do you have REAL Lottery Goals? Or do your 'lottery goals' look like one of the following: a) I wish I could win the Lottery; b) If only I could win the Lottery, or c) it would be nice to win the Lottery.
Because there is a presumption in the above that you can't win the Lottery, such Goals set you up for failure. And they are not really Goals anyway - simply vague dreams. They have no Action Plans or Time Frames, nor are they stated in the positive.
How much success do you think you would have if you set such wishy-washy, negative Goals for your Career, Health, Relationships, etc ? Even if you had a Goal that said, "I will win First Prize in the Lottery this week" and spent all week in Positive Thinking Mode, it is extremely likely that nothing would happen. It needs you to take Massive Action!
Very few people have Lottery Goals. Their excuse for NOT setting Goals is usually, "At odds of 1-in-13,983,816 (6-49 lottery), what's the point?" With odds like that you can't afford NOT to have Goals! Go For it - "Massive Effort Brings Massive Results"
Bare essentials are: 1) An Action Plan, with a Time Frame, 2) Adequate Resources (Time, Money, Energy, Commitment), and 3) The cooperation and assistance of others (some jobs are just too big for one person!)
This is what my Lottery Goals look like - "I will win First Prize in the Lottery - within the next 10 years at most - learning everything I can along the way - sharing the cost and the experience with others."
I also have Action Plans and Sub Goals within my overall Lottery Goals, and a time-frame. These include setting up a new Lotto Syndicate / Lottery Club every Year; constantly developing & testing new lotto systems and lottery strategies; a never-ending education in all aspects of Lotto - and encouraging others to educate themselves and share insights with the Group.
Step 1 was getting 3 winning lotto numbers regularly. I can now do this every week - and so can you if you have my book, Winning Lotto Secrets (suitable for 6-ball lottery only). Surprisingly, it takes only 160 games to guarantee 3 or more winning lotto numbers (for a 6-45 lottery), as opposed to 8,145,060 games to guarantee all 6 winning lotto numbers.
The second step is getting 4 winning lotto numbers regularly; I can do this IF I want to. However, it takes 3,350 games (in a 45-ball, pick-6, Lottery). I have modified my Goal to "Getting Four Winning Lotto Numbers or more when the First Prize is big enough to justify 3,350 games." I had no idea at the outset of developing the modified Goal - but as you learn, so you get new insights.
Your third step logically should have been getting 5 winning lotto numbers regularly. Technically, I can do this - but it is not cost effective. The system I developed requires 65,000 games for a 45-ball lottery (it requires 8,145,060 games to guarantee 6 winning lotto numbers). It works, but the logistics of funding such an entry - especially when it only guarantees 5 winning lotto numbers - are horrendous. Australian First Prizes rarely go beyond $20 Million. At some stage I may go back to this Goal; an example would be for a USA Draw that had rolled up to $100 Million or more and I was approached by someone with a High Rollers Syndicate / Lottery Club already in place.
My question is, "If you only succeed in Winning the Lottery once every ten years, is that Success or Failure?" For me, winning the Lottery once every ten years is fine - and it is realistic. I have achieved it. Twice. Proof is at www.winning-the-lottery.com. And I am not finished yet; I am convinced a third million-dollar lottery win is just around the corner. So let me encourage you to learn all you can about your lottery, set some specific, time-framed goals, partner with others to share the cost and rewards - and, most of all, take action. Good Luck!
